About Us
KB Sport Horses is a horse boarding and training operation in Colbert, GA just 20 minutes from the UGA campus.
The 28 acre property offers 30 stalls, a large outdoor lighted arena with fiber footing, a hacking field, grassy paddocks, and a beautiful tack room.
We offer full and pasture board packages, specializing in exceptional individualized horse care and training services. KB Sport Horses is the proud home of the UGA IHSA Equestrian Team, and also offers beginner to advanced riding lessons on your horse or ours. We focus primarily on Hunter/Jumper and Eventing disciplines, and welcome riders of all ages and skill levels.
Our Team
Head Trainer/Owner Kelly Boltz
Kelly is a lifelong equestrian who has over ten years of teaching and farm managing experience. She has worked with many renowned trainers and riders in the Hunter/Jumper and Eventing worlds.
Kelly trains riders from the beginner levels up through the 'AA' shows and still rides and competes regularly. She believes in a solid foundation and proper education of flatwork

KB Sporthorses offers a unique and individualized lesson program. Whether you want to compete on the Intercollegiate level, learn dressage, hack out with friends, or compete at the "AA" shows. We have phenomenal horses and opportunities tailored to your specific goals.

You're likely to see Caroline hustling around the farm all day. From managing medications, doing horse show entries, and doting on her lease horse Ulio- Caroline does it all.

Nur is the person who makes your ponies sleep well at night. Her favorite saying is "they are all comfy cozy." You can find her flipping stall mats, exercising horses, and making sure her riding partner Lily is clean and loved.

David is the guy that stays up late watering and dragging arenas for the next day. He makes sure every blade of grass is trimmed and every piece of equipment is up and running.
In his spare time you can find David eating good seafood and keeping up with the races in Kentucky.

A professional in the industry her whole life- there is nothing Barbara can't do. She cleans stalls, monitors horse heath, and helps with the daily care and operation of our farm. She's got a sixth sense for horse care and can fill any role at any time. She's wonder woman.
In her spare time Barabara can be seen competing her Chinese Crescents on a national level and loving on her horse Spot.
